He claimed that “prices are currently better compared to the period of sleepy Biden, thanks to lower fuel and energy prices,” as he put it. Trump accused the Democrats of seeking to “mislead about the decline in prices” during his term.
The American President pointed out that Thanksgiving costs have decreased by 25% compared to last year, and considered this proof of the economic improvement the country is witnessing.
Trump’s statement comes in conjunction with news reported in American media stating that the current President is preparing for an intensive tour throughout the United States to focus on the issue of citizens’ purchasing power, while his advisors are considering preparing a series of economic speeches addressing his plans to reduce prices in the near future.
Trump repeatedly emphasizes that the American economy is in excellent condition and that prices have decreased significantly, adding that part of this improvement is due to the tariff policy that he reactivated since returning to the White House.
