مايكروسوفت تكشف النقاب عن أول "موظف رقمي" بهوية معتمدة

Microsoft is preparing to launch a new generation of artificial intelligence agents under the name “Agentic Users,” designed to serve as fully integrated digital employees within companies and organizations. These agents will have an email, a “Teams” account, and official identities, just like human employees.

According to Digital Trends, the launch of these agents is expected to begin this November through a new store called “M365 Agent Store,” under a separate license likely to be known as “Agent 365.”

The company confirms that these agents will not just be executors of commands, but will be able to send messages, participate in meetings, modify files, and accomplish tasks independently, making them closer to virtual colleagues who can be supervised or collaborated with.

Experts believe that this step could achieve a quantum leap in productivity, but in return, it raises many ethical, administrative, and security questions related to oversight and accountability, especially if the digital agent makes any mistake in correspondence or decision-making.

Microsoft is expected to reveal more details during the Microsoft Ignite 2025 conference, which will be held between November 18 and 21, where this technology is expected to be officially presented for the first time.

Analysts suggest that the emergence of “digital employees” will motivate companies and government agencies to develop new legislation to regulate the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence in the workplace, and to reformulate the concept of responsibility in the age of smart offices.
