
Sheikh Mohammed Ali Al-Husseini, the former Secretary-General of the Arab Islamic Council, stated in a tweet on the “X” platform today, Saturday: “It is the destiny of Jabal Amel to remain the mountain of supervision, the rejecter of injustice, the resistant that does not break, bend, or surrender.” Al-Husseini also clarified that “with its history in the past, present, and future, it is a mountain of pride and dignity, as it resisted the occupier throughout history and was not defeated, and victory crowned with blood was written for it.”
Al-Husseini added, saying: “Read about Jabal Amel, the land of Abu Dharr al-Ghafari, to understand well its great history, its present, and its glorious future.” He added: “And always remember that no tyrant has ever intended Jabal Amel except that God broke his back in half.”
He also pointed out that “Jabal Amel is a symbol of steadfastness and resistance, and its role in every stage of history bears witness to the determination, patience, and strength of its heroes who have never known surrender.”
Al-Husseini concluded his speech by saying: “Preserving its heritage and learning from its positions is our duty towards the past and our fortress in securing our safety and security.”
