عراقجي: لا تعديل على الحدود.. وممر "زنغزور" تحت الرقابة الإيرانية

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi affirmed, on Thursday, that his country “does not trust any country,” but it continues the dialogue to achieve “the interests of the Iranian people.”

TASNIM News Agency reported that these statements were made by Araqchi during his meeting, on Thursday morning, with a group of university students in Hamadan.

Araqchi also pointed out that “the 12-day war was a great school that revealed Iran’s military and scientific capabilities,” stressing that “Iranian missiles have proven their effectiveness in the real battlefield and were able to overcome defenses and reach their targets accurately, despite American and European support for Israel.”

He added that this confrontation clarified that “force alone is the guarantor of survival in an international system where the law of the jungle still prevails.”

Regarding the “Zangezur Corridor,” Araqchi affirmed that Iran “will not accept any change in the borders or geopolitics of the region,” considering that the best way to ensure regional security is cooperation between the countries of the region within the framework of the “3+3” initiative. He explained that his country “is following the file directly, and we have been assured that no threat will affect Iran, but we continue to monitor.”

Araqchi also addressed the position on the nuclear negotiations during his speech, pointing out that dialogue is “an essential tool to achieve national interests,” and said: “We are not afraid of negotiating, just as we are not afraid of fighting, and the important thing is that we preserve our national pride. The lifting of sanctions must be done in an honorable manner that preserves the dignity of the Iranian people.”

He stressed that the policy of “neither Eastern nor Western” does not mean cutting ties with the East or the West, but rather means independence from any external party, explaining: “If cooperation with the East is in Iran’s interest, we will not give it up, and the same with the West if it respects our interests, but experience has proven otherwise.”

The Iranian Foreign Minister concluded by saying: “We do not trust any country, but we have strategic partnerships based on common interests with Russia and China within the framework of clear agreements, and we will continue this cooperation according to those foundations, relying first and foremost on our people.”
