Jaber: Receiving Updated Information from the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon Regarding Subsidy-Related Values

Minister of Finance, Yassin Jaber, announced that the ministry recently received updated data from the Governor of the Bank of Lebanon regarding the support values, as requested. This came in response to his letter sent to the bank on “2025/8/25,” after the tax administration found that the information it had previously received from the bank was not complete or final.

Jaber also requested the aforementioned administration to begin completing the audits of the support values that some companies, institutions, and associations benefited from, setting a deadline of “31/1/2026” for this. This aims to take appropriate measures in accordance with his joint decision with the Minister of Justice dated “June 23, 2025”.

Jaber indicated that the tax administration has already started auditing the work of the benefiting taxpayers, with the completion of auditing the work of those who received the largest support values scheduled for the specified date.

In a separate context, Minister Jaber received a number of former deputies, including: Khalil Al-Harawi, Nicola Nahas, Talal Al-Merabi, Ammar Houri, Agop Kassarjian, and Nasser Nasrallah.
