In a gesture of appreciation, French star Kylian Mbappé, a Real Madrid player, celebrated winning the Golden Shoe award for the 2024-2025 season in the private box at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
This coronation came after Mbappé scored 31 goals in 34 matches played in the Spanish League last season, to top the list of European top scorers and deservedly win the award.
Mbappé appeared holding the award, amidst a warm welcome from the fans at the “Santiago Bernabéu” stadium, before the start of the team’s match against Valencia in the eleventh round of La Liga, on Saturday evening.

The first Real Madrid player to win the award was Hugo Sánchez, who scored 38 goals in the 1989-1990 season, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo, who achieved the feat three times with Real Madrid, scoring 40 goals in the 2010-2011 season, 31 goals in the 2013-2014 season, and 48 goals in the 2014-2015 season.
In addition, Cristiano Ronaldo won the award again with Manchester United before moving to Real Madrid.
