Putin affirmed that “the problem of water resources is increasingly exacerbating in the world,” pointing out that “the situation in Russia is stable, but for our neighbors, and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, it is very urgent.”

The Russian President also emphasized the importance of exploiting the competitive advantages that Russia enjoys in the field of water resources, stating: “We have certain competitive advantages in the field of water resources, and we must use them effectively.”
