The North Lebanon Bar Association is witnessing fierce competition for the position of President, where it appears that lawyer Marwan Daher enjoys widespread support. According to information, the Free Patriotic Movement has decided to support him, thus joining the Marada Movement, the Future Movement, and MP Faisal Karami in endorsing his candidacy.

Daher enjoys great popularity among the youth in the association, who see him as a figure capable of achieving a balance between experience, professional competence, and modernization.

On the other hand, lawyer Elie Daher, supported by the Lebanese Forces, receives support from the Forces and the Islamic Group.

This significant support for Marwan Daher reflects a notable change in the union and political landscape in the North, and indicates the emergence of new balances within the association, especially with the elections being held amidst political conflicts that extend beyond the professional aspect.

As for the third candidate, Shawki Sassin, he previously worked as an advisor to the Minister of Culture, Muhammad Al-Mortada, which gave his candidacy a character close to the resistance team. Sassin receives limited support from some former presidents.
