The Media Committee in charge of organizing media coverage for the upcoming apostolic visit of His Holiness Pope “Laon XIV” to Lebanon, scheduled from November 30 to December 02, 2025, announces the following:
Believing in the importance of providing the best possible conditions for the work of journalists, whether Lebanese, Arab, or foreign, during the visit of His Holiness the Pope to Lebanon, which bears the title “A Visit of Peace and Hope,” the Media Committee has created a website dedicated to registering accreditation requests.
Registration will be available exclusively through this website, starting on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, and continuing until November 20, 2025, at the latest.
The Committee strongly emphasizes that no accreditation request received after this specified date will be accepted, and no journalist will be allowed to enter the papal visit sites without obtaining the special accreditation card for the visit.
Journalists who obtain accreditation are required to go to the Grand Ballroom of the Phoenicia Hotel, as this hotel will be the main media center for the visit.
Special buses will be provided to transport accredited journalists to the various visit locations, in coordination between the Committee and the competent security authorities.
The Committee will issue subsequent statements to clarify all the details related to logistical and media arrangements, in coordination with the Supreme Committee and the Church Committee concerned with organizing the visit.
The Committee urges all media institutions to fully comply with this specific mechanism to ensure obtaining accreditation cards, which will be delivered 48 hours before His Holiness the Pope arrives at Rafic Hariri International Airport.
