The Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment urges all esteemed subscribers to take the initiative to pay their accumulated water dues for the year 2025 and prior. You can do so through accredited collectors, or through the establishment’s department funds, or using electronic payment devices (POS MACHINE) available in distribution departments and “Online” money transfer company (OMT) centers.
Recognizing the current economic conditions, the establishment has taken a series of measures aimed at alleviating the burden on dear citizens, including the following:
A discount of 85% on late payment penalties for subscriptions for the year 2024 and before.
The possibility of installment payments for amounts outstanding from previous years up to 2025, until December 2027 at the latest.
Simplifying the procedures for obtaining new subscriptions for former subscribers who still have financial dues, with the possibility of paying these dues in installments until December 2027.
Reducing the value of establishing new subscriptions for buildings connected to water networks by 40% for caliber subscriptions and 50% for meter subscriptions.
Reducing the fees for changing subscriber names by 90%, in addition to a similar reduction in the costs of renewing temporary subscriptions.
Providing the opportunity to pay the 2025 dues in two equal installments:
The first installment is due before the end of November 2025.
The second installment is due before the end of December 2025.
The establishment calls on all subscribers to respond to this announcement and hasten to pay the amounts due as soon as possible, especially arrears, in compliance with Article (24) of the Investment System issued by Decree No. 14597 dated June 14, 2005.
The establishment would like to note that the deadline for paying the 2025 bill is December 31, 2025, noting that a late payment penalty of 2% per month will be applied starting from January 2, 2026.
The establishment affirms in conclusion of its statement that “This announcement serves as a personal notification to each subscriber, and interrupts the statute of limitations.”
