Sheikh Muhammad Ali Al-Husseini comments on media analyses that speak of the weakness of the resistance in Lebanon, stressing that it has regained its strength.

Through his account on the “X” platform, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Al-Husseini commented on a series of media and press analyses and reports that saw that “the resistance in Lebanon has weakened or is on the path to surrender.” In his post, Al-Husseini rejected these narratives and considered them “exaggerated,” stressing that the resistance “has regained its strength” and that it has a renewed ability to move.

Al-Husseini said, according to the text of the tweet published this morning, that the media reading that portrays a decline in the capabilities of armed actors “does not reflect the reality they foresee,” and added that the resistance, in his view, “has risen and strengthened,” explaining that what he described as “foresight” leads to the expectation of field movements that may surprise opponents and allies alike. Al-Husseini did not include in his tweet operational or geographical details about any future operation.

The tweet sparked mixed reactions in the political and media arena: Some parties welcomed Al-Husseini’s assurances and considered it a message of moral support to a specific popular base, while analysts and activists expressed concern about the language of threat or allusion to armed operations, warning of an escalation of the discourse that may exacerbate security tension in the border areas.
