Important notice issued by the Ministry of Finance:

The Ministry of Finance would like to remind all contractors of parties and various artistic activities, which include, but are not limited to, singing and music concerts, DJ shows, plays, festivals, comedy shows, and other similar artistic and entertainment events, of the need to fully comply with their legal obligations.

The Ministry urges these contractors to expedite the declaration of their revenues and the payment of taxes, fees, and fines due on them for the tax periods whose payment deadline expired on 20/11/2025.

The Ministry stresses that failure to do so will subject them to legal prosecution, as they will be considered to have committed the crime of tax evasion, in accordance with Clause 12 of Article One of the Tax Procedures Law, and the resulting financial and penal penalties.

The Ministry adds that after the expiration of this deadline, the tax administration will begin taking all necessary measures to collect the taxes, fees, and fines due, while prosecuting taxpayers who have not complied with paying the state’s dues.

In a related context, the Ministry issued another statement addressed to taxpayers of taxes and fees under Articles 32, 37, and 13 of the Tax Procedures Law, calling on them to adhere to their duties towards the state.

The Ministry also urged taxpayers who have not previously registered with the tax administration (“the hidden”) to take the initiative to register immediately and declare their income and pay taxes and fees for the years that have not fallen under the statute of limitations.

The Ministry appeals to registered taxpayers who have not declared their income or paid the taxes and fees due to expedite the declaration and payment of what they owe.

It also calls on taxpayers who have declared income less than the real value to amend their declarations and pay the difference in tax due on them.

The Ministry concludes its statement by emphasizing that it will take all necessary legal measures against non-compliant taxpayers to collect hidden taxes and fees with the associated fines, and will prosecute anyone who has not complied with their tax obligations, considering them to have committed the crime of tax evasion.
