The Minister of Energy and Water, Joe Al-Sadi, visited Amman, where he met with his Jordanian counterpart, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh The research focused on energy importation and the reality of the Arab gas pipeline to Lebanon, within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Al-Kharabsheh stressed the depth of the historical relations between Jordan and Lebanon, pointing to the royal directives to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries and Jordan’s readiness to supply Lebanon with part of its electrical energy needs as soon as the readiness of the other relevant parties is complete, noting that the connection lines from Jordan are fully ready.
