US President Donald Trump launched a sharp attack on Iran and its leadership, considering that it had officially become a “failed state” and describing it as “dead.”

Trump said, in a post on his “Truth Social” platform, that Iran no longer has a navy, air force, or currency, claiming that it is unable to pay the salaries of its soldiers and police officers, and that its inflation rate has reached 300%.

He added that the Iranian leadership is living in a state of “total chaos,” and accused it of being unable to represent the country properly, and of killing demonstrators, claiming that the number of victims exceeded 100,000 people.

Trump called for the prosecution of Iranian leaders on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, accusing Tehran of relying on what he described as “fake news” coming from the United States, and of releasing “a torrent of nonsense.”
