The Brazilian club Palmeiras has reached an agreement to transfer its young winger Allan to English club Manchester City for 40 million euros, about 46.6 million dollars, according to what a club source told Agence France-Presse.

The source explained that the two clubs reached a “verbal agreement” regarding the transfer of the 22-year-old player, with the official procedures for the deal to be completed later.

Alan is one of the graduates of the Palmeiras Academy, which in recent years has provided a number of the most prominent Brazilian talents, including Estevao, who moved to Chelsea, and Endrik to Real Madrid.

This season, Alan scored 4 goals and made 3 more during 21 matches in the Brazilian League. He also scored a goal and provided two assists in 8 matches in the Copa Libertadores.
