For his part, the Minister of Administrative Development saluted the city of Tire and its people for “their adherence to their land, their steadfastness, and their cohesion in the face of challenges,” praising what “the city represents as a model of coexistence, and a beacon of human values called for by the hidden Imam, Mr. Musa al-Sadr,” stressing that “the Lebanese state will remain alongside the people of the south, and will work to support their steadfastness and enhance the elements of their survival in their land through development and investment projects.”
The meeting concluded by emphasizing “the importance of cooperation between the Lebanese state, international partners, and local authorities, which contributes to launching sustainable development projects that enhance stability and support people’s survival on their land with dignity.”
