Hezbollah congratulated Khalil Al-Hayya on his election as head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, considering that this step constitutes a clear message to Israel and its supporters, and to everyone who bet on ending the Palestinian resistance.
The party said, in a statement, that it extends its congratulations to Al-Hayya and to the leadership of the Hamas movement and its mujahideen, on his election to succeed the former head of the political bureau, Yahya Al-Sinwar.
He believed that Al-Hayya’s election confirms that the Hamas movement is still present, strong and united, and that it will continue its path despite the assassinations and attempts to break its will and the will of the Palestinian people.
He added that killing the leaders will not lead to the downfall of the resistance flag, stressing that this flag will remain raised and carried by loyal men who continue the march with faith and steadfastness.
The party wished Khalil Al-Hayya success in assuming responsibility and carrying the trust left by the leaders who were killed, stressing that the Palestinian resistance, based on its people, will remain steadfast and defend the rights of the Palestinians until their land and sanctities are liberated.
