The price of the cheapest resold ticket for the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain reached more than $6,400, while the prices of private hospitality seats approached $60,000.
FIFA’s official resale platform on Saturday morning offered tickets at a price of $6,411 for seats behind the goal, before they sold out within hours.
The prices of seats in the corners of the upper stand amounted to about 10,000 dollars, compared to 16,000 dollars for the seats closest to the field. The “SeatGeek” and “StubHub” platforms also offered some lower grandstand seats for about $35,000.
The final brings together Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal, while Argentina seeks its fourth and second title in a row, while Spain seeks its second crown after the 2010 title.
