The meeting witnessed the participation of more than 250 people, including mayors, mukhtars, spiritual authorities, heads and representatives of agricultural cooperatives, in addition to a large number of farmers and those interested in agricultural affairs.
The meeting included a presentation of the activities of the Fertile Desert Association in the fields of agriculture, health, development, relief and psychological support. It was also agreed to enhance cooperation and networking between the Ministry of Agriculture, local authorities, the association and other concerned parties, and to work on developing an integrated agricultural project and preparing an agricultural map based on the needs and priorities of farmers, in a way that supports the resilience of the agricultural sector and enhances food security and sustainable rural development.
