The WhatsApp application has begun introducing a new design for the chat interface on iPhone devices, based on the “Liquid Glass” visual design language, in a step aimed at improving the user experience and making the application more consistent with the latest design standards adopted in the iOS system.

The new design is based on transparent elements and visual effects inspired by glass, giving the application interface a more modern and smooth look. The modifications include the lower conversation bar and the upper navigation bar within chats, which will appear with transparent and gradient effects that enhance the sense of depth and interaction.

WhatsApp has already begun introducing some new design elements to different parts of the application, but the update is still available to a limited number of users within a gradual launch plan aimed at testing performance and collecting feedback before full rollout.

According to reports, some iOS users have gotten parts of the new interface, such as a floating tab bar and glass-themed visual elements, while others are still using the traditional design.

The updates are not limited to the conversations screen only, as WhatsApp is working to redesign the buttons, interactive menus, and other elements within the application to provide an experience more consistent with the modern design language adopted by Apple.

The company also plans to add new effects to the voice message player in future updates, as part of its efforts to unify the use experience across the various sections of the application.

WhatsApp has not yet set an official date for launching the new design to all users, but expectations indicate that it will gradually arrive on iPhone devices during the upcoming updates.
