Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, reviewed the report of the work of the Emirates Tourism Council and the achievements of the UAE’s tourism sector for the year 2025.

The report showed that the UAE has achieved continuous growth in the tourism sector, as it included an increase in the number of hotel establishment guests to more than 32 million guests, an increase of 5.1 percent compared to 2024, and an increase in hotel establishment revenues to 49.21 billion dirhams, an increase of 9.7 percent compared to 2024.

The number of hotel rooms reached 217,000 rooms distributed over more than 1,240 hotel facilities, and the hotel occupancy rate reached 79.5 percent, which is among the highest rates regionally and globally, which reflects strong demand and sustainable performance.

The most prominent achievements of the UAE tourism sector also included the number of hotel nights reaching 100 million, and the UAE ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa, and 18th globally in the Travel and Tourism Development Index for the year 2024.
