According to the leaks, the new device will combine the features of the iPhone and iPad within one multi-use design.
According to circulated information, the phone will come with a foldable, book-shaped design, with a 5.3-inch external screen for quick use, along with a large internal screen of up to 7.8 inches that gives the user an experience closer to tablets. Which makes the device suitable for watching content, multitasking, and gaming.
Reports also indicate that Apple has succeeded in significantly reducing the effect of the folding on the internal screen, which is one of the most prominent problems facing foldable devices in recent years. The phone will rely on a titanium frame to provide greater durability while maintaining light weight and thin thickness.
High resolution cameras
The iPhone Ultra Fold is expected to include a dual rear imaging system with a resolution of 48 megapixels for each lens, including a main camera and a wide-angle camera, while dispensing with the telephoto lens to maintain the device’s thinness.
The phone will also contain two front cameras dedicated to the internal and external screens to facilitate video calls and taking selfies.
Powerful performance and intelligent system
The phone will run the iOS 27 operating system, with new features to support multitasking and running more than one application at the same time, taking advantage of the large space of the internal screen. The device will also rely on the A20 Pro processor developed with 2nm technology, in addition to 12 GB of RAM. What gives it a high ability to run heavy applications and games with great efficiency.
Touch ID is back
In a remarkable move, Apple intends to return the Touch ID feature via the power button instead of relying on Face ID, to provide a different security option for users.
As for the price, expectations indicate that the phone will start at about 2000 US dollars, becoming one of the most expensive iPhones ever.
Observers believe that the new phone may mark the beginning of a new phase in Apple’s technology strategy, especially with the increasing global demand for foldable devices and the tendency of major companies to develop hybrid devices that combine phones and tablets.
