To this end, a meeting was held in the presence of the Chairperson of the Administrative Board, Mai Al-Khalil, the Vice-Chairman, retired Brigadier General Hassan Rustom, the members, the Secretary, the Media Advisor, colleague Hassan Mohieldin, the Treasurer, Ghassan Hajjar, and Dina Haraka, and in the presence of the Executive Director, Samer Makarem, the Racing Director, Aarabi Nael, the member of the General Body, the Director of Relations and Protocol, Bashir Al-Saqqa, and members of the work team.
Operations Director Françoise Nehme gave a detailed presentation in which she explained that the registration window was closed before the specified period for registration, which is May 20, due to the demand for participation and the exhaustion of the race number cards, the ceiling of which was set at one thousand and five hundred participants of all ages. She indicated that the process of receiving the race numbers will take place during the period from May 20 to May 22 at the association’s offices located in the startup complex in the Beirut Digital District (BDD) on Bishara Street. Al-Khoury – opposite the Ministry of Finance (Imports Directorate), Building No. 1294 (6th floor), daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
In the logistical context, Nehme revealed that there are no road closures, especially since the race is not competitive, and it is an international event held annually in 60 countries around the world on a unified date, which is May 23, and the total number of participants reaches 260,000 male and female runners.
The starting point of the race will be in front of the Biel “Seaside Arena”, and along the waterfront until the Al Nahda Club in Manara, then back to the starting point.

00:7 10 km race
At 7:30, 5 km race
15:8 1 km race
At 10:30, awards ceremony for the first three place holders (men and women)
Nehme indicated that a medical plan has been developed to provide the highest safety standards for male and female runners. There will be an operations room under the supervision of the Association’s Executive Director, Samer Makarem, and it includes representatives from the Lebanese Army, the Internal Security Forces, the Lebanese Red Cross, the Civil Defense, the Lebanese American University Medical Center (LAU), and members of the Association’s work team, to follow up on the events of the race along the tracks. The meeting concluded with a speech from Hebron in which she expressed sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude to all the partner parties cooperating in making the race a success, and to the work team’s dedication and keenness to confirm professional field work, stressing that organizing the race in these difficult circumstances that Lebanon and the Lebanese are experiencing is a message of hope and peace to the whole world.
