Google announced the adoption of a new system for calculating the limits of the use of the Gemini artificial intelligence robot, which is based on measuring the amount of computing power consumed instead of specifying a fixed number of daily requests.

According to the new update, the usage share will vary according to several factors, most notably the length of conversations, the complexity of commands, in addition to the use of advanced tools such as image and video generation and deep search and analysis features.

Google confirmed that paid plans will have greater usage capacities compared to free accounts, in light of the increasing demand for advanced artificial intelligence services and their high consumption of computer resources.

This change comes in conjunction with similar transformations that technology companies are witnessing, with the expansion of the use of artificial intelligence agent systems capable of carrying out complex tasks that consume large processing capabilities during a single session.
