In a continuing field escalation in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah announced the implementation of a series of focused targeting operations targeting Israeli army sites, gatherings, and vehicles, at a time when the pace of clashes is increasing despite the ceasefire being in effect.
In successive statements, the party reported that, at 9:30 today, it targeted gatherings of Israeli army soldiers in the vicinity of the Musa Abbas complex in Bint Jbeil, as well as near the school in the town of Hula, using artillery shells, confirming direct hits.
She added that at 10:45, a gathering of Israeli army soldiers was targeted in the town of Al-Bayada with an attack aircraft, followed by a new artillery bombardment of gatherings in Bint Jbeil and Hula at 13:00.
He also announced the targeting of a military vehicle in the town of Al-Bayada at 1:15 p.m., with an attack helicopter, followed by the targeting of a “Hummer” vehicle in the town of Al-Taybeh at 1:25 p.m., confirming that casualties had been achieved.
In a remarkable development, at 14:00, he targeted a gathering of vehicles and soldiers in the town of Adshit al-Qusayr with appropriate weapons, before announcing at 14:42 that he had targeted a “Merkava” tank in the town of Rashaf with an attack aircraft.
The operations continued, with a new targeting announcement at 15:50 for a gathering of vehicles and soldiers in the town of Bayada with a swarm of assault drones, which led to casualties that required the intervention of an evacuation force under heavy smoke cover.
The party also documented these operations through video clips it published, which showed scenes of targeting a gathering of soldiers in the town of Taybeh with assault drones, in addition to footage of the targeting of a “Merkava” tank in the town of Qantara, as well as another video entitled “Remember Well,” which showed injuries among Israeli soldiers.
These operations come in the context of the resistance’s response to what it describes as continuous Israeli violations of the ceasefire and targeting of southern villages, which led to martyrs and wounded among civilians.
This escalation reflects the continuation of open clashes on the southern front, where field operations overlap with military and media messages, in the absence of any decisive indicators of stabilizing the calm.
In light of these developments, the region appears to be facing a delicate stage, with the escalation of the use of drones and precision weapons, which enhances the complexity of the field scene and opens the door to the possibility of additional escalation in the coming period.
