A statistical analysis conducted by Anadolu Agency revealed a staggering number of Iranian attacks targeting seven Arab countries, most of them Gulf, since the beginning of the war on February 28 until Thursday evening, and this included violations during the first two days of the truce.

Based on official statistics issued by Arab and Gulf governments, the total number of Iranian attacks reached no less than 6,413 missiles and drones, in addition to an attack by two Su-24 warplanes.

The numbers showed that the attacks did not stop even after the start of the truce, as on the first day, last Wednesday, 141 missiles and drones were launched targeting: the UAE (17 missiles and 35 drones), Saudi Arabia (5 missiles and 9 drones), Kuwait (28 drones), Qatar (7 missiles and a number of drones), and Bahrain (6 missiles and 31 drones).

On the second day, 10 drones were spotted targeting Bahrain (7 drones) and Kuwait (at least 3 drones), which reflects the continued state of tension despite reaching a two-week truce agreement under Pakistani sponsorship between Washington and Tehran.

The attacks began on February 28, with Tehran announcing that they were in response to what it described as “American-Israeli aggression” on its territory. The operations continued in varying degrees until the truce was declared at dawn on April 8.

On the other hand, Tehran stated that it was not targeting specific countries, but rather “American bases and interests” in the region, but the attacks led to deaths and injuries and damage to civilian facilities, including airports, ports, energy facilities, and various buildings.

According to Anatolia’s analysis, the UAE topped the list of most targeted countries, followed by Kuwait, then Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan, while the Sultanate of Oman was the least affected.

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced the interception of 537 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles, and 2,256 drones, with a total of 563 missiles and 2,256 drones since the beginning of the escalation. The number of victims reached 13 dead and 224 injured of different nationalities.

The Kuwaiti army announced that the country was hit by 354 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 845 drones. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs also accused Iran and its agents of targeting vital facilities using drones.

According to monitoring, Saudi defenses succeeded in confronting at least 104 missiles and 916 drones.

The Bahrain Defense Force announced the interception and destruction of 194 missiles and 515 drones, including 7 drones, during Thursday.

Data indicate that Qatar was exposed to at least 227 missiles and 111 drones, in addition to an attack by two Su-24 warplanes.

Jordan has been exposed to 291 missiles and drones since the beginning of the war, according to Jordanian army data.

According to the Oman News Agency, the Sultanate was hit by at least 19 drones at different times.

A two-week truce was announced at dawn on April 8, in preparation for a final agreement to end the war that broke out on February 28, and resulted in thousands of deaths and injuries.

The announcement came less than two hours before the end of the deadline given by US President Donald Trump to Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and agree to an agreement, threatening widespread escalation in the event of non-compliance.
