Doping scandal confuses Senegal players

Moroccan journalist Youssef Al-Tamsamani caused a widespread uproar after speaking about what he called a “dangerous development” following the end of the African Cup of Nations, which brought together Morocco and Senegal.

He mentioned in a video clip he posted on his Instagram account that the Senegalese national team players left Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium in Rabat about 35 minutes after the coronation ceremony, considering that this period was “not enough” to conduct doping tests.

Al-Tamsamani added that doubts are growing about the Senegal players not undergoing tests, noting that, as he mentioned, he has sources in Brussels who have contacted the Confederation of African Football and the World Anti-Doping Agency, but have not received any response yet.

He also touched on other information that he claimed was related to the existence of disagreements within the corridors of the Senegalese Federation.

Until now, there has been no official comment confirming or denying this information. (coora)
