Today, Iranian media announced an air attack targeting the capital, Tehran. As a result, senior Iranian official Kamal Kharazi was seriously injured and his wife was killed after their home was targeted.
Reports indicate that the attack was attributed to American and Israeli aircraft, as the bombing directly targeted Kharazi’s house, leading to major destruction in the place.

“Kharazi” is considered one of the prominent figures close to the Iranian leader, and he currently holds the position of Chairman of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations, which is an advisory body concerned with determining the features of Iranian foreign policy and works under the direct supervision of the country’s senior leadership.
Kharazi previously served as Iranian Foreign Minister between 1997 and 2005, and before that he was Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, making him one of the most prominent diplomatic figures in the Iranian regime.
This event comes in light of escalating regional tensions, and so far no official comment has been issued by the relevant authorities on the details of the attack or its possible effects.
