On Saturday morning, the Israeli army announced an important development: monitoring the launch of a missile from Yemen towards Israeli territory, and confirmed that Israeli air defense systems had responded to it.
In a related context, Israeli media reported that sirens sounded in the Eilat and Negev regions following the missile launch, indicating escalating regional tension.
This incident is the first of its kind since the start of the “war on Iran” about a month ago, indicating the possibility of new fronts joining the confrontation.
On the other hand, reports stated that the incident did not result in any casualties, while previous video recordings showed the fall of a drone launched from Yemen in the hotel area in Eilat.
The “Houthi group” had previously threatened to intervene in the war if attacks on Iran continued, and warned the United States and “Israel” against using the Red Sea in military operations.
It should be noted that the “group” had in the past intensified its rocket fire towards “Israel”, especially towards the Eilat area, before the announcement of the “Gaza Agreement”.
