Increasing economic burdens of war

The total cost of the American military operation against Iran exceeded “$30 billion,” according to what was announced by the “Iran War Cost Tracker” website, in light of the continuing raging conflict between Iran and the American-Israeli alliance.

According to information on the “Iran War Clock” website, nearly four weeks have passed since the start of the operation, meaning “about 24 days and 20 hours,” with the site continuing to update its data moment by moment, based on the costs of maintaining the forces, individuals, and ships deployed in the region, in addition to related expenses.

These estimates are based on a report issued by the US Department of Defense submitted to Congress, which indicated that the cost of the first six days reached “$11.3 billion,” before later rising to about “one billion dollars per day.”

This comes at a time when the war has entered its twenty-sixth day, with the continued exchange of missile bombardments and drone attacks, in addition to Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz to ships belonging to the United States, Israel, and countries that it considers supportive of military action against it.
