On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and Mother’s Day, the Vice President of the Political Council, Hajj Mahmoud al-Qamati, delivered a statement in which he congratulated the Lebanese and praised their heroic steadfastness in the face of the continuing Israeli aggression.
Al-Qamati explained that the Lebanese people are the true heartbeat of the nation and the pillar of resistance, and that their patience and steadfastness are the basic pillars of preserving Lebanon’s dignity, sovereignty, and independence, stressing that victory will be their ally, God willing.
He also paid a tribute of reverence and admiration to the mothers of the martyrs, the wounded, and the resistance fighters, noting that the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounds of the injured are a trust in the hands of all the people of Lebanon, and stressed that “weapons will remain in the hands of the resistance and will not be given up under any circumstances.”
Al-Qamati praised the efforts of the heroic resistance fighters stationed on the front lines, and considered them to be miracle makers who thwart the enemy’s plans, protect the nation’s sovereignty, and liberate it for its faithful and steadfast people.
Al-Qamati also expressed his thanks to the Coordination of the Islamic Resistance and the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq for their contribution to protecting the southern suburb and its people, stressing that this work embodies the meanings of sincerity, loyalty, faith and Arabism, and reflects the strength of “strategic equations” in the face of American and Israeli influence.
At the conclusion of his statement, El-Gamati raised his hands in supplication and congratulated all the Lebanese and the Mujahideen, stressing that pride, dignity and certain victory will always be “a sign of steadfastness and steadfastness in the face of aggression.”
