Winter Olympic champion, Johannes Hosflot Klaebo, suffered a concussion following a fall during the semi-finals of the World Cup sprint race in Drammen, Norway.
Claybo wrote in a post on his Instagram account on Friday: “I fell yesterday and hit my head hard, but fortunately, everything is fine,” adding that he would take a few days off from training and from the Internet to ensure full recovery.
Claybaugh was injured after colliding with American skier Ben Ogden during the race on Thursday, and he was taken to the hospital for the necessary tests.
Last month, the Norwegian skier won all six available gold medals in the Milan/Cortina competitions in Italy, becoming one of the best Winter Olympic athletes ever. He also won his sixth World Cup title after easily winning the quarter-finals.
