Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that Israel aspires to see the Iranian people “liberated from the yoke of tyranny,” stressing that achieving this goal is ultimately the responsibility of the Iranian people themselves.
Netanyahu explained: “There is no doubt that, with the measures taken so far, we are breaking their bones, and our work is not finished yet.”
He hinted that if Israel was able to successfully cooperate with the Iranian people, this would lead to “fundamental changes.”
He added: “If there is such a thing as a permanent end to the lives of nations, we will achieve it.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements come amid a sharp escalation in tensions between Israel and Iran, following the military operations that began late last February and targeted military sites and infrastructure linked to missile and nuclear programs inside Iranian territory.
On the other hand, Tehran responded by launching a series of missile attacks and drone attacks targeting Israeli sites and American military bases in the region, which led to the expansion of the scope of the conflict to include multiple regions in the Middle East.
