Vice President of Hezbollah’s Political Council and former Minister Mahmoud Qamati announced that the resistance is continuing its confrontation with Israel, stressing that this option will remain in place until the attacks stop and liberation is achieved.
In the context of his talk to Al-Mayadeen TV, Qamati explained that the equation of “the army, the people and the resistance” had proven its effectiveness in the Bekaa region, especially during the attempted landing carried out by the Israeli army in the town of Nabi Sheet.
He pointed out that the capabilities of the resistance and its fighters still constitute the first line of defense in the confrontation, stressing that the resistance is able to withstand for a long time, and that victory is their ally thanks to the support of the people.
He added that there is a huge plan targeting Lebanon with all its borders and existence, calling for preparedness to defend the country.
Qamati stressed that the resistance will continue “until the last breath,” stressing that the confrontation will continue until the attacks stop, complete liberation is achieved, the desecration ends, the prisoners are freed, the families return, and then the reconstruction process begins.
Regarding internal affairs, he expressed his rejection of the government’s decisions regarding resistance weapons, considering that the government had violated international law when it prevented confronting the aggression and reclaiming the land.
He called on the Lebanese state, and in particular Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, to exploit the power of the resistance to put pressure on countries to achieve complete liberation, noting that the power card today is in the hands of the state to protect Lebanon and prevent any aggression.
Qamati concluded his speech by emphasizing that victory will be achieved thanks to the steadfastness of the Lebanese people and their great sacrifices.
