Israeli warplanes resumed bombing the southern suburb of Beirut, this time targeting the Ruwais area, in a new escalatory step after the bombing had previously targeted the Lebanese capital.
A reporter explained that the two raids carried out by Israeli aircraft on the southern suburb specifically targeted the Ruwais area, amid intense flight of warplanes in the skies of Beirut and the suburb.
A loud explosion was heard in the targeted area. This raid comes within the context of an ongoing military escalation, as Israeli warplanes launch a series of raids on various Lebanese regions, including the south, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
It is noteworthy that the southern suburb has been subjected during the past few hours to several Israeli raids, as part of military operations targeting multiple areas in Lebanon.
