After Arnold... Real Madrid is planning another free kick

The Spanish club, Real Madrid, is preparing to deal a strong blow to the English club, Liverpool, by seeking to sign its player, “Trent Alexander-Arnold,” in the right-back position, taking advantage of his refusal to renew his current contract, to complete the deal on a free transfer.

Real Madrid is also developing a plan to win another free transfer from Liverpool next season.

The German newspaper “Bild” reported that French player Ibrahima Konate, Liverpool’s defender, tops Real Madrid’s list of priorities to strengthen the defense line during the next season.

It is worth noting that Konate’s contract with Liverpool has not been officially renewed yet, and is scheduled to expire next June.

The same newspaper confirmed that “Konate” has become one of Real Madrid’s interests to strengthen the defense line in the new season, especially since contracting with him will cost the Spanish club only his salary.

She also explained that the player had decided to leave Liverpool and not renew his contract, after entering the last three months of his contract with the English team.

The 26-year-old player joined Liverpool in the summer of 2021, coming from German club Leipzig, in a deal worth 40 million euros.

Before moving to the German League, Konate previously played for French club Sochaux.
