Emirates Airlines announced that it is operating a reduced flight schedule at the present time as a precautionary measure, after reopening parts of the airspace in the region, which allowed the safe resumption of commercial aviation operations.
An official spokesman for Emirates Airlines said that the company had operated more than 100 flights to and from Dubai on the fifth and sixth of this March, with the aim of facilitating the transportation of travelers to their destinations, in addition to transporting necessary shipments that include medicines and perishable foodstuffs.
The company stressed that it will continue to work to gradually restore its flight schedule, according to the availability of airspace and the fulfillment of all necessary operational conditions, while emphasizing that the safety of passengers and workers remains at the forefront of its concerns, and that it is closely monitoring the situation and adjusting its operations in line with developments.
It also appealed to travelers not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed reservation, and urged them to visit the website and its official communication channels to obtain the latest developments.
