Jerusalem and the Golan are on high alert following warnings of a possible air threat

Israeli media announced that sirens were sounding in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, in anticipation of the possibility of a drone entering the airspace.

Israeli Channel 12 indicated that there is growing concern about the possibility of an air penetration in the Jerusalem area and its suburbs, coinciding with the activation of sirens in the Golan as part of preventive and warning measures.

According to the information received, the relevant authorities have raised the level of preparedness and are closely monitoring suspicious aerial objects to determine their identity and path, with no confirmed details yet about their interception or downing.

This comes in the context of the escalation of the military clash between Israel, Iran and its allies, as extensive use of drones was observed in recent operations, whether on the “northern front” or in the rear. The increase in the volume of air and missile attacks has led to the repeated sounding of sirens in major cities, with increasing fears that tension will develop to more complex levels if the pace of escalation continues.
