Lawyer Khaled Al-Zaidi, the legal representative of Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, announced that his international legal team has launched a global electronic platform to receive notifications and information related to his assassination case.
Al-Zaidi stated that this team includes lawyers and investigators specialized in international criminal crimes, and pointed out that the primary goal of this platform is to collect any details that may help uncover the circumstances of the crime and identify those responsible for it.
He stressed that all information and personal data received will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and will be secured in accordance with known international standards in the field of data protection and information security, in order to ensure that the privacy and safety of whistleblowers is preserved.
According to what the legal team published on its page, the platform is ready to receive certificates, documents, and any relevant information, provided that it is examined and analyzed professionally within organized legal procedures.
It is noteworthy that “Saif al-Islam Gaddafi” was killed on the third of last February inside his residence in the city of Zintan, after unknown gunmen stormed the building after they disabled the surveillance cameras, and he was hit by gunshots that killed him.
Until the moment of this announcement, no official statement has been issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office clarifying the results of the investigations or revealing the identity of those involved in this incident.
