:

President Saad Hariri delivered a very important speech, in which he defined the political paths that the Future Movement will take in the upcoming elections, the most important of which is a return to political work through participation in parliamentary elections, if they actually take place.

In a language close to the hearts of the masses who gathered in front of the tomb of the martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri on the 21st anniversary of his assassination, Hariri spoke about the principles in which the movement believes, in the past, present and future.

On the 21st anniversary of the martyrdom of his father, Rafik Hariri, he said: “God willing… God willing… God willing… You are not a few, by God! After 21 years, by God, you are not a few! After all the rumours, all the exaggeration and all the fabrication, yes, by God, you are not a few! You were never a few, and you will never be anything but many, because we and the truth… are a group!”

On behalf of these crowds, Prime Minister Hariri sent a message in which he said: “You, and those who watch us, whose minds and hearts are with us, I understand you one by one. I know you who are steadfast in your convictions, who are patient, who do not sell their moderation in the market of political madness, and who do not sell their affiliation in a gallery of flawed bidding!”

He added: “You are the line of the martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, who say with your presence every year in this square, and every hour and in every arena, that the martyr Prime Minister is alive in you.”

He continued, addressing the crowds: “Every day and every year you declare your adherence to his approach, and you say and do, and you say in the loudest voice: Moderation is not hesitation but courage, and patience is not weakness but faith in this national school, and that the Rafik Hariri project is you who have proven that it is not a dream that ends with his assassination, because you are Rafik Hariri’s dream for the future, you are… the future!”

Tomorrow is better:

Hariri affirmed that tomorrow will be better, citing the oath of Gebran Tueni and all our martyrs, and said: “Tomorrow is better and the light is clear at the end of the tunnel, and this, believe me… is the last tunnel!”

He considered that Rafik Hariri was not just a passing figure, nor a seller of illusions, but rather he was an example of a statesman who believed, up to martyrdom, that: “No one is greater than his country!” The evidence of this is his position in the minds, hearts and consciences of the Lebanese, and for this reason, we hear people yesterday, today and tomorrow saying: The country, the economy, trust and coexistence need Rafik Hariri’s approach.

He pointed out that these supporters are not a few, and he said to them: “You are the safety valve in this country, you are the difficult number, you are this school that knows and proves to people daily, that the Future Movement does not see politics as positions, prestige, or fawning!”

Loyalty and dignity policy:

Hariri explained the vision of the Future Movement, which sees politics as loyalty and defense of the nation’s dignity, the sovereignty of 10,452 square kilometers, and the rights of all people, in every home in the north, the Bekaa, the south, and the mountains, and in every neighborhood in Beirut and the suburbs.

He revealed that when he was asked to cover up the failure and compromise with the state, he refused and decided to stay away, because, as he sees it, politics at the expense of the nation’s dignity and at the expense of the state’s project is meaningless and has no place in our school.

He said: “There are people who only love power, and there are people who love people before power.” What do I want to do? I love you so much, because I come from the People First school!

He stressed, saying: “We have moved away, but we are there and we live with your concerns, and we see those who think they will eliminate you, and who, unfortunately, have turned themselves into daggers to stab me day and night… But my back endures, my back is a mountain, because you are my back, my support, my pride, my family, and my people!”

“Your accountant is Saad”:

Hariri affirmed his principle in political life by saying: “Your ally, Saad, does not lose sight of the compass, does not buy or sell, or trade with people! And those who are trying to convince you that the Rafik Hariri School has closed its doors, and that the Future Movement has its future behind it… and that National Haririism, forget it! has become history… To all these people, with your presence here today, and every day, you say clearly: ‘Our history has a future!’ And our future is in our hands, we make it, and we know how to make it!”

He stressed that national Harirism takes a distance and takes a warrior’s break, but it does not break or disappear, and that many of those who bet on breaking Harirism have also broken.

He said: “Whoever bets on the abolition of Haririyya today, we say to him: ‘Whoever tried the experiment… his mind was ruined!’ ‘Take an example, or take a vacation’!”

One Lebanon Project:

He continued: “We are not broken, because our project, Rafik Hariri’s project, is a vision and belief that Lebanon will rise no matter what happens. And our project will remain as long as you remain and remain united so that we will have a country that is not ashamed of its past or its present, and whose future is not buried in it.”

He said: “This is what Rafik Hariri taught us, and this is how we will remain. We will not change our skin and will not deny favor and kindness, no matter how hard the circumstances are upon us and the injustice of our relatives. Because we do not sell positions, and more importantly, we do not buy positions or positions, neither in the political market nor in the iron market.”

He added in a loud voice: “The Lebanese are tired, and after many years of wars, divisions, axes, and guerrillas, it is their right to have a normal country. A country with one constitution, one army, and one weapon, because Lebanon is one and will remain one. Because dreams of division fell by virtue of reality, history, and geography, and the illusions of annexation and domination were carried by their owners, and they fled, on a night… in which there was moonlight!”

Greetings from the South and Tripoli:

Hariri sent a sincere greeting to the people of the south, who deserve a state that protects them, cares for them, and anchors them to their land, to our land, in solidarity and solidarity among all Lebanese.

He also gave a special greeting to Tripoli, and stressed that what fell there was not only two buildings, but the dignity of all officials in the state and outside the state collapsed in Tripoli, and the credibility of politicians, parties, leaders, and businessmen collapsed. He said: “We are all negligent against Tripoli, and we are all responsible for the tragedy of Al-Tabbaneh, and statements of solidarity and placing responsibility on the state alone are no longer of any benefit to us. Tripoli has all the conditions for success to be one of the most important cities in the Mediterranean, a city with a history, and its history… there is a future!”

Without ambiguity, he said clearly: “Our project is one Lebanon, Lebanon first, a Lebanon that will not return and we will not allow it to return to any sectarian strife or internal fighting, and our history and the price we paid bear witness, and our opponents are bearing witness before the allies!”

He mentioned that Rafik Hariri was the biggest contributor to stopping the civil war, and he was the godfather of the Taif Agreement, which we always affirm, yesterday, today and tomorrow, is the solution, and must be fully implemented!

He said: “Yes, since all the Lebanese agreed and ended the war, thanks to the Taif Agreement, and pledged to implement it, every political party takes a side of this agreement and demands it. The result: Taif is not implemented and our crises do not end.”

He added: “When we say Taif is complete, we mean: there are no weapons in it except in the hands of the state, administrative decentralization, the abolition of political sectarianism, the establishment of the Senate, the full implementation of the armistice agreement. All of these must be implemented, completely, and immediately, so that we can end our chronic diseases and crises all together!”

He reiterated that: “Our project is Lebanon first. Lebanon is one, Arab, sovereign, free, and independent, and our project is one Arab position, and the Future Movement can only be as Rafik Hariri was, a builder of bridges between Arab countries and Arab brothers, and his specialty is bridges. He does not know how to build walls, or block roads!”

He pointed out that Harirism has always been and will remain supportive of every Arab rapprochement, and repels every Arab dispute, and that whoever confuses the issue of Gulf and Arab disputes, “will leave an empty basket,” and will burn his hands and his credit.

He pointed out that we want the best relations with all Arab countries, starting with the closest neighbor Syria, the new Syria, the free Syria that got rid of the regime of slander and criminality, which destroyed it and Lebanon and spread its poison to the Arab world.

He saluted the new Syria and its people, and wished success for all unification, stability and reconstruction efforts led by Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, and extended his hand to continue with the approach of consensus and reunification, because Syria accommodates everyone and can only work with everyone.

Commitment to elections:

Hariri stopped at the crucial questions that all the Lebanese were repeating before the speech, and stated: “A year ago, on the twentieth anniversary, I told you that Rafik Hariri’s movement, the Future Movement, will be your vote in national elections. The most important of these elections, the first of which is the parliamentary elections. Now the whole country has two questions: Will the elections be held? And what will the future do? And I have one answer: Tell me when the elections are, so I can tell you what the future will do!”

He said: “But I promise you, when the elections happen, I promise you: They will hear our voices, and they will count our votes! With elections or without elections, you and I are both sweet and bitter, nothing will separate us, and thanks to you and our unity, nothing can break us.”
