Guler's finder opens the file...bullying within Real Madrid

Serhat Bekmezci, the former talent scout for Fenerbahce Club, who played a major role in the emergence of the “Arda Guler” star before his move to Real Madrid, revealed what he described as “bullying” to which the player was exposed within the corridors of the “Royal” club.

It is noteworthy that Bekmezce worked as a talent scout in Fenerbahce between 2018 and 2021, and he was the one who brought “Guler” to the Turkish club in “2019” and included him in the youth teams, before he was promoted to the first team in 2021, then he moved to Real Madrid in 2023.

The “AS” newspaper quoted Bekmezci in statements he made to the Turkish media, to the effect that “bullying comes from the players,” and he added: “There is a group that did not accept the response. Unfortunately, these players have great pride.”

He added, “Although Real Madrid is a prestigious club, Arda Guler was being bullied. He did not complain to me, but I knew this would happen,” noting that he advised him to be “patient.”

He explained that Guler is “very patient and understanding,” but “even he began to rebel and began to wonder why he is always the focus of bullying.”

Bekmezce also cited what was said about Jurgen Klopp regarding the Real Madrid dressing room, where he said: “Klopp has already stated that some players need to leave Madrid in order to be able to arrive,” considering that the “toxic atmosphere” played a role in not contracting with Klopp and hastened the departure of Xabi Alonso.

He concluded his speech by noting that Xabi Alonso informed the Real Madrid management upon his departure last January that “there is authority for some players that cannot exist in a club the size of Merengue.”
