Al Hilal Saudi Club, the leader of the Rushen League, announced on Wednesday the renewal of the contract with Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves until 2029.
Neves, 28 years old, joined Al Hilal in June 2023 from the English club Wolverhampton, and quickly became one of the key players in the team’s lineup.
Through its official accounts on social media, Al-Hilal stated: “Neves’ symphony continues with the chief of Asia.”
During his time with Al Hilal, Neves participated in 115 matches in various tournaments, during which he scored 18 goals and provided 30 assists to his teammates.
In another context, Al Hilal announced last Monday the inclusion of veteran French striker Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad Club, the league champion last season, in addition to contracting with the two young Frenchmen Mohamed Kader Miti and Simon Bouabry. (Arabic)
