The Emirati “ADNOC Distribution” announced its expansion into the Saudi market during the year 2025, opening 99 new gas stations. Thus, the total number of its stations in the Emirates, Egypt and Saudi Arabia reached 1,010 stations, according to a statement by CEO Badr Saeed Al Lamki. Al-Lamki explained that Saudi Arabia includes 170 stations, Egypt 240 stations, while the rest of the stations are distributed in the Emirates. He stressed that the company is following a strategy to diversify its sources of income by focusing on non-fuel-related activities.
The company also recorded a growth in its annual profits by 15.4% to reach $761 million, driven by an increase in the income margin to 19.3% and a growth in non-fuel retail sector profits by 14.4%, in addition to a decrease in financing costs. The Board of Directors proposed distributing cash dividends of $350 million for the second half of 2025.
Al Lamki pointed out that the bulk of the company’s profits come from the UAE, where it accounts for more than 61% of the market, but he emphasized the steady growth of activities in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
On the sidelines of the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, the company opened the largest high-speed charging complex on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi road, which includes 60 chargers, and plans to reach 20 complexes and 700 charging points by 2028. The company also expanded the range of services accompanying gas stations to include restaurants, car wash services, and oil changes.
In Egypt, the activity of selling aviation fuel has witnessed remarkable growth as a result of the increase in tourist traffic, while the “ADNOC Voyager” factory for manufacturing motor oils supports the company’s business locally and exports its products to 52 countries. The company intends to invest between $250 and $300 million annually to develop its business, which includes expanding the station network, modernizing the car fleet, and opening new stores, in addition to exploring expansion opportunities in other markets outside the three countries.
