Al-Nasr Club snatched a difficult victory at home and among its fans at “Al-Awal Park” in Riyadh, defeating Al-Taawoun with an unanswered goal, in a match held on Monday evening in the eighteenth round of the “Roshen” Saudi Professional League.
“Al-Alamy” was able to seize all three points thanks to an own goal scored by Al-Taawoun defender, Mohammed Al-Dosari, by mistake against his team in the last minute of the first half, deciding the result in favor of Al-Nasr and maintaining it until the final whistle.
With this victory, Al-Nasr achieved its third victory in a row, raising its score to 40 points, occupying second place in the standings, reducing the gap with leaders Al-Hilal to 5 points. While Al-Taawoun’s score froze at 35 points, remaining in fifth place.
