The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raji, the latest developments in southern Lebanon, against the backdrop of the ongoing Israeli attacks and the diplomatic efforts made to confront them.
In addition, the meeting discussed a number of topics related to the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, within the framework of follow-up to the files presented at the diplomatic and administrative levels.
In the context of his other meetings, the President of the Republic received at Baabda Palace the Ambassador of Bangladesh, “Muhammad Jubayer Salehin,” on a farewell visit on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic work in Lebanon.
Aoun praised the efforts made by Ambassador Salehin to consolidate bilateral relations between Lebanon and Bangladesh, expressing his appreciation for the level of cooperation existing between the two countries. He also thanked Bangladesh for its role within the framework of UNIFIL forces to support stability in southern Lebanon, wishing him success in his future missions.
