Loan to Al-Radeef.. Al-Ahly announces the agreement to transfer Hamza Abdel Karim to Barcelona

Walid Salah El-Din, director of football at the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, confirmed on Saturday that his club has reached a final agreement stipulating the transfer of young player Hamza Abdel Karim to the ranks of the Spanish club Barcelona during the current winter transfer period, which continues until the end of this month.

In a statement to the Egyptian “On Sport” channel, Salah El-Din said: “Yes, Hamza Abdel Karim has completed his transfer to Barcelona, ​​and I hope that he will have success with the Spanish club, and that he will not return again, but will continue his professional journey in Europe.”

He added, explaining that there are “small details” that are still pending related to the difficulty of obtaining a visa, and the rest of the procedures will be completed after this issue is resolved.

It is noteworthy that Egyptian and Spanish press reports indicated that Abdel Karim, 18 years old, will join the Barcelona reserve team on loan until the end of the current season, with a clause allowing purchase for 1.5 million euros. In addition, there are financial incentives that may increase Al-Ahly’s revenues to up to 5 million euros based on the player’s performance and the number of his participations.
