message "The nationalist" It includes a stern warning of a danger threatening its existence!

The Council of Mayors of the “Syrian Social Nationalist Party” held a meeting headed by the head of the party, “Asaad Hardan,” where the discussion dealt with the latest developments, most notably the continuation of the “Zionist aggression” against Lebanon, and the subsequent national and constitutional duties that fall on the Lebanese state.

In a statement issued by attendees, the party stressed that the continuation of the “Zionist aggression,” especially in the southern regions, and the accompanying deliberate killing of civilians, targeting of media professionals, destruction of homes and institutions, and forced displacement of residents, represents an extremely dangerous existential challenge. The statement added that being satisfied with condemnations and denunciations is no longer enough, which requires the Lebanese state to assume its full responsibilities and take practical measures to protect citizens and preserve national sovereignty, considering that what is happening is a clear and systematic aggression aimed at subjugating Lebanon and imposing Zionist dictates and conditions, in flagrant violation of national sovereignty and dignity and international and humanitarian resolutions and conventions.

The attendees saw that Lebanon’s commitment to the ceasefire, and the government’s adoption of the diplomatic path through the so-called “mechanism,” did not result in the enemy implementing the ceasefire agreement nor in the liberation of the occupied Lebanese territories. Therefore, the party stressed the need for the state to raise its voice loudly, stressing that resisting the occupation is a legitimate right guaranteed by the Lebanese Constitution and recognized by international conventions, and that the emergence of resistance is a direct result of the occupation and not a cause of it, demanding that the so-called “international community,” especially the countries guarantoring the ceasefire, be held fully responsible for the continuation of the aggression and its consequences.

He also stressed the importance of national unity and the solidarity of all political forces alongside the state in the battle to extend sovereignty, by restoring the occupied territories and defeating the aggression, warning against wasting elements of national power under the pretext of exclusivity of weapons, and stressing that ending the occupation is the basic condition for consolidating sovereignty, and that any different approach represents unjustified submission to Zionist dictates and external pressures.

The party warned of the danger of some official positions that justify the enemy’s aggression and crimes, or that reduce the concept of sovereignty to the weapons that defended Lebanon and protected its people, considering that these positions harm the national interest, at a time when political and legal action should be intensified and complaints against the enemy should be filed in international forums and institutions.

The attendees concluded by emphasizing that restoring citizen confidence in the state can only be achieved through firmness in defending sovereignty and ending the occupation, decisiveness in the reconstruction decision, effective presence alongside citizens in the face of economic and social risks, and securing the minimum requirements for a decent living in the areas of health, environment, and livelihood. They pointed out that this confidence has not been achieved yet, with increasing compliance with external dictates and conditions, which calls for a responsible national stance to correct the course and protect the supreme national interest.
