"Secret weapon": Trump provides additional information regarding Maduro's arrest

US President Donald Trump announced that the US military used a type of advanced weapon that disrupts movement and performance, during an operation he claimed was targeting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Trump stated, according to Sputnik, that this weapon hindered the ability of air defenses to launch missiles at American helicopters and aircraft.

In an interview with the New York Post, Trump stated, “A weapon was used to confuse the movement. I am not allowed to talk about it in detail,” and added: “They were not able to launch their missiles, even though they had Russian and Chinese missiles. They pressed the buttons, but nothing was launched, even though they were in a state of readiness.”

In a related context, reports indicated that a Chinese expert named Lan Xunqing suggested that American forces likely used an advanced sonic weapon or a weapon based on ultra-high frequency waves during that operation. The expert based his analysis on testimonies attributed to Venezuelan security personnel who spoke of “mysterious sound waves,” as symptoms such as vomiting, nosebleeds, and loss of the ability to move appeared after the attack.

Based on these symptoms, the expert did not rule out that the weapon used was infrasonic or ultrasonic, or what is known as a “noise weapon.” He also pointed out the possibility of using a microwave weapon based on ultra-high frequency waves, which was originally intended to confront drones, before it was used against humans, according to this possibility, noting that its energy might be sufficient to cause serious, and perhaps fatal, damage.
