لغز الـ 100%.. حلول لإنهاء تقلبات شحن البطارية المفاجئة

Recent technical reports have revealed that unjustified fluctuations in the charging level of phones and tablets, or the sudden shutdown of the device despite a charge appearing on the screen, are not always due to battery damage, but rather to the inaccuracy of the measurement system. To overcome this annoying problem, users can perform a “battery calibration” to reset the operating system so that it can determine when the battery is actually full or empty.

The correct method for calibration depends on charging the device until it reaches 100%, then using it until it turns off automatically due to complete power depletion. After ensuring that the power is completely exhausted, it is recharged again to 100%, leaving it connected to the charger for an additional hour to ensure reading accuracy. Users of features that limit charging at 80% should temporarily deactivate them during these steps to ensure the system reaches the true maximum.

Despite the effectiveness of this process in correcting misreadings, experts warn against repeating it excessively, because complete discharge damages lithium-ion cells. They emphasize that the best way to maintain battery health in the long term is to keep the charge level between 20% and 80%, and to limit calibration only when abnormal behavior is observed in the device’s performance.
