خاصية غير معروفة في "ويندوز 11" تساعدك على فحص حالة بطارية حاسوبك المحمول

Technology reports have revealed that the “Windows 11” operating system includes a hidden tool, unknown to many, that allows laptop users to check the battery health of the device and determine its level of degradation, and thus estimate the potential need to replace it, without having to download any additional applications.

This tool provides a detailed technical report that includes the original battery capacity at the time of manufacture, the current capacity at full charge, as well as the number of times the battery has been charged and discharged. The difference between these two capacities is considered an important indication of the battery’s condition, as a loss of about 15-20% of the original capacity indicates a clear deterioration in its performance. It is worth noting that most batteries are designed to operate efficiently up to about 500 charge cycles.

This feature can be activated simply via the “Command Prompt” or “PowerShell” using the following command:

powercfg /batteryreport /output “C:battery-report.html”

After that, a report in HTML format will be created, which can be opened directly via a web browser and also contains a record of battery usage and performance during recent periods.

This feature comes within the latest updates to the “Windows 11” operating system, amid the increasing importance of battery monitoring due to the heavy reliance on laptops for work and study, which helps users make better decisions to maintain the performance of their devices in the long term.
